Meet Cam, a producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose journey through the global music landscape has been nothing short of remarkable.
For over a decade, Cam has been a force in the international music scene, immersing himself in the vibrant cultures of New York, Los Angeles, London, and beyond. His musical pursuit, led him to sign a publishing contract with BMG in Berlin, a testament to his undeniable talent and dedication to the art of sound.
Over the years he spent most of his time in studio sessions and songwriting camps for various artists across Europe, honing his craft in both music production and songwriting across various genres.
Cam also has personal artist projects known as 'BAYKER', an organic Deep House & Techno alias where he channels his love for electronic music, and 'Sit With Sound' a meditation project.
With his return to New Zealand from the European industry, Cam has immersed himself in a vast array of creative projects from advertising, working with artists, and his personal projects. Cam is always looking to collaborate and connect through creativity.

ARTIST WORK
From writing and singing his first songs on guitar at age 8, to signing a publishing deal with BMG Germany. Cam found himself in many studios and songwriting sessions across Europe, writing and toplining for various artists.
In studio Cam learnt and developed techniques to bring out the best in both himself as well as artists he worked with. Honing in on different elements of the creative process, he would explore vocal delivery, emotional intention, melodies and song structure, all of which now contributes to his unique approach in creating.
BAYKER PROJECT
BAYKER is a New Zealand-born producer, singer, and DJ, known for his Melodic House & Techno music. His journey took him from the underground scene of Berlin to stages across Europe, where his fusion of organic and eclectic sounds, and signature energy of tension and release, captivated audiences.
In 2015, BAYKER moved to Berlin and became a vital part of its electronic music scene over six years, producing tracks that gained global recognition. He performed at legendary clubs like Watergate, supporting renowned artists such as 'GHEIST,' 'HOSH,' and 'Paul van Dyk.' His music has received support from acclaimed DJs like Solomun and Hernan Cattaneo.
BAYKER's collaboration with 'GHEIST' on 'Salvation' became an underground anthem, reaching #14 on the Beatport charts. His subsequent EP 'Howl,' signed to RADAU, also achieved significant success.
He has since launched his own record label, ZELAND, where he continues to innovate in electronic music with deep organic grooves, melodic synths, and captivating vocals. BAYKER's music aims to create immersive experiences that connect people across cultures.
SIT WITH SOUND
Sit With Sound is a personal project Cam has created to facilitate a meditation practice. The journey's Deep subtle frequencies are divinely placed to hold space for one to drop in and connect on a deeper level with the universal self.
Too much information keeps the mind occupied, not enough can be altogether discouraging, but dancing in between can be a great invitation for one to go deeper.
The journeys have been created for anyone in search of sonic guidance to drop in, as well as yoga practitioners, who are looking to create the ideal soundscape in their space. His journey's are best listened to with headphones or speakers as the frequencies are intentionally subtle and deep at times.
